Lost

Where do I go, from here?

Internship finally ended 2 weeks ago and application for universities has started. I have to depend on myself for every single decision I am going to make, it's all about me, me, and my future. I hate growing up. I hate living a life full of regrets.

2012, a leap year whereby it is going to be full of changes and I have to learn to be brave to face whatever fate have for me.

Rewind: 2011

So the last time this space was being updated was... mid of october, 2 months left to a brand new year. Well, let's rewind and take another look~

Highlights - Twins' 19th and of course, Christmas & New Year's Eve!

Twins' 19th celebration was a simple but yet a special one. There wasn't any dinner at an expensive and exquisite restaurant, however, we rest of the girls did up a cozy surprise for them at Shaw House sky park! Doing simple things in life are the happiest moments.

On the 23rd, the 7 princesses gathered at my place for a homely Christmas potluck session. Time does flies when we look back at everything we went through together, since 2005. Cheers to our 7 years of friendship <3

Siting, who's my brunch mate came back from Melbourne for Internship. It's good to have her back here, sharing things with each other and definitely, going crazy all over our interest :)
Kiewu joined us for Christmas Eve brunch at Prive @ Keppel Bay. Thanks for the treat, army boy!

Christmas was spent with the angels and mortals at Serene's.

Potluck session with turkey, canapes, thai food, sushi, everything and anything! Joyride to Labrador Park and then back for drinking session! Gift exchange was done by the rules of the game, Angels and Mortals.

Advanced NYE dinner @ Timbre for Ade & I before we fly to HK ;)

Last event of 2011: NYE @ HongKong. It was my first time spending new year overseas and had a great time in HK with my family. It was also a trip to commemorate their 20 years of marriage! Met up with Christina, Ryan and Adeline there for the best dim sum meal ever :) Fulfilling trip - Best Dimsum @ Tim Ho Wan, Best Macarons @ Paul Lafayet, Best Yogurt @ Crumbs, ending and welcoming a new year with the best company - The ones who truly love me <3

Inevitable

Seems like getting hurt is the only way out. If you've never been hurt before, you will never learn and gain something greater in life. Who wants or love to get hurt..? Everyone wished for happiness, living their life carefully, analyzing everything before making a decision. No regrets = Happiness. However, when one wished for happiness so much, they tend to stay in their comfort zone thinking that it might be the best way out for themselves. But they never once realized that they had actually forgotten the importance of taking risks and the chances of getting something greater out of it.

I have once talked about my regrets in life, up to 2010, which I concluded that I had none. I have been living my life really carefully that I never allow any chances for mistakes and regrets to surface. Of course, I am human and I do make mistakes. But definitely not grave ones, that is why they are not considered as my regrets. When 2011 is ending in 2 weeks time, I might have found something in my life that when I looked back in the future, that is one of the regrets that I have made. A good/bad one, who knows..?
